Previa Speedo

Hi there everyone, can someone please help me.......

I have a 1992 previa that i have just brought, but the speedo only works when you get past about 35-40 mph anything below that and it stays on zero. Also the mileometre and trip counter only work when thy feel like it, could this all be part of the same problem???

I had these same problems on Japanese imports when changing the speedo face from KMH to MPH.This problem happens if the speedo has had the needle removed & replaced without turning the ignition on until ignition lights come on then have to fit the needle. It is a job for a garage or competent DIYer as the needle is very easily broken. May be a better idea to source a replacement instrument cluster.
