From reading the forum the Typhoon is the one that most peeps go for, but does anybody have any experience of the other 2??

Fancy being a bit different but thought i'd get some advice first!!

TRD do make one for the 2ZZGE engine in America

Think there are problems fitting to ours due to the different engine bays tho.

Quite like the look of the Viper, has a carbon fibre heat shield!!

TRD japan dont. would you have yank bits on your car? as you can tell i aint convinced by induction kits that sit in and draw hot air. apexi make good quality filters (good filtration) and if located right will increase power. some kits have poor filtration which is how they get good gains.

1 vote for the typhoon from me, the roar when the engine is cold is great although darnt rev too high when cold , only bad thing is when engine is warm the roar becomes a bit more tame dont know why. obviously when in lift it roars great.

my mate also has a typhoon on his CTR and would advise on one.

Does anybody know what gains the 3 kits provide?

K&N quote 7.5bhp for the Typhoon, can't find any stats for the Blitz Sonic and the only stat i can find for the Viper is that it gave a 1.6 Saxo an extra 10bhp!

All the kits are roughly the same price so i just wondered if one kit gives a bigger gain than the others before i part with my cash!

Right Blitz (Fensport) have been quite helpful!

Sonic - Gain around 3-7bhp

SUS - Gain around 5-14bhp and is cheaper than the Sonic?!

Still waiting on Pipercross but i'll keep you posted!
