Rear Luggage Cover 4.3

A few people have mentioned it, but the rear cover on the 4.3 really is cr*p. surely with the wealth of talent on here we can come up with a better idea !

it wouldnt be difficult cutting out the shape in MDF or similar and carpeting it, but it could really do with being hinged for access and stowage and how to support it so it doesnt rattle, and adjust for rear seat movement, any suggestions..

I admit it isn't Rolls Royce fodder but it needs to flexible at the front so that it doesn't stop the rear seats from reclining. I'm not aware that mine rattles either unless it goes in upside down then it really rattles.

Beware of using anything too rigid because your rear seat passengers will get decapitated if you get rear ended

There is a multitude of fixes - I saw in the local paper a primary scool who have built a greenhouse using 2litre plastic bottles, strengthened by bamboo cane through each bottle (bottles built vertically). You could even get a grant from the recycling bods for this (no commission requested).

The answer is only constrained by your ideas.
