the filter looks like a cheapo ripspeed/halfords bodgejob to me. im sure envy used the apexi when they made the cold air intake am i right?

Nah, looks genuine to me - exactly the same as my Envy filter..

it's definatly a envy filter, they never used an apexi on their kit.

Looks exactly the same as mine, as for the filter having a hole in it, they can easily be replaced.

i want some envy filter pipeworking, you think Kev @ envy would knock up a set for a fair price? or did envy get it done by someone else?

I dont think you could use that with an Apex'i filter, the filter bolts onto the housing with a gasket inbetween on the Apex'i, the housing is the bit that has the hole in for the MAF. :( I have a nearly new Apex'i but always wanted the envy system.
