Hello From Avensis 54 Reg 2.0d4d T3-x Owner

Hello,

I have had an Avensis 54 Reg Hatchback 2.0D4d T3-X for just over 1 and a half years and now i register!

Anyway, I got my tank on 22k and it's just over 43k now, in the first year I did approx. 12k but since a change of work place am doing an 80-mile round trip 4 times a week so the miles are coming on nicely, time between 30k service and 40k was 6 months. That's what these were made for

I'm happy with the mpg, 47-51 average, approx. 460-500 from a tank depending on how far I drive with 'the light!' with mainly motorway and national speed limit roads, unfortunately in rush hour so there's a lot of stop-start. This kills mpg and my leg! Why no auto?! Another gripe is lack of 6th gear, my friend has a 53 A4 1.9TDI and regularly gets 600 out of his tank :censor:

Overall though I love the calmness and comfiness of the car, it wasn't made to be ragged, it's too refined for that and for the long journeys I have taken it's an absolute joy, whether down to Lon or up to Edinb, I love it

Anyway, i have various q's to post so shall do so, there's great info on this site, keep it up
