My tsport is makig some funny noises. i think its the suspension. its loudest on bumpy roads. the noises sounds like as if theres something rolling around. also my steering wheel is well off line. iv to hold it at about 11 oclock (12 being straight) when driving in a straight line. what should i be paying to get this fixed? should i go to toyota? im pretty sure this is whats turning my trc off and the vsc too.

I have just bought my t sport, and i think i am having the same problems. I hear a rattling sound coming from the bottom of the car and the "VSC" light stays on. The "TRC Off" stays on as well as the malfunction indicator. Apprently these 3 things are all linked. Anyone got any ideas as to what problems im having, how this can be sorted and how much this may cost.

Cheers

Ash

easy way is to have the car on level ground , out of gear but handbrake on ,. put a long arm brace on the nuts , as if removing them and go from tighening to loosening motion , not removing the nuts , just finding the max torque the nut can take , if theres play in the , forward /back motion , my money would be on a shagged wishbone , if u want il bring a jack on saturday morning and take a look

best get tracking checked, been told steering wheel must be straight when in straight line as there is a sensor on steering which looks for this when it sees that it's off set it alarms up ( offset steering wheel makes it think it's pulling to the side in a straight line and you are correcting by turning wheel)

ya thats what i think my lights are on for. do i have to go to mr T or can i get kwick fit or local garage to fix it? costs?

take it to central tyres fella behind donegal pass firestation in belfast , they use hunter kit which has an electronic database of proper settings , not just some pleb with a sight gauge

send all my cars and mates there

iv had alsorts of knocking from my front passenger side. 1st is was the strut, then the trackrod end, then the wishbone bush perishied cozing the metal arm to hit the sub frame!!!!!! id say the wishbone is your best bet if uv lowered it coz the bushes and ball joint r under more stress. the steering angle sensor will need calibrated aswell if the wheel is off centre, even if u get tracking done it will prob need done after its straight. iv got a sheet sumwhere how to do it. il try dig it out and post pics how 2 do it.its pretty easy.
