Round where I live; the council have decided to implement new speed bumps, unforntely in the dark (even with headlights) you are unable to see them until you have hit it. I don't speed in built up areads (20mph), but my exhaust has taken a fair beating on these, I've memorised where most are to avoid them but the poor wee exhaust sounds like its going to drop off.

Has anyone else hit thier exhaust? Any problems occur from this (appart from the obv falling off)?

I'd be tempted to take it to a local garage for a visual inspection. Just to make sure it won't fall off :)

If this one dies it would be a perfect excuse to get myself a custom exhaust :)

I'd be tempted to go for legal advice. Are you in RAC or some such motoring organization or someone who might be interested in helping you prove that your car exhaust has been damaged due to poor road planning or lack of road markings?

Good call, also I think nothing is supposed to be higher than 4". Might be worth taking a photo and some measurements and get some money out of them.
