i know the cat isnt a bolt off bolt on like most japanese cars...but is there any companies that make a pipe specifacially for the corolla that goes from the manifold to the backbox but without the cat?

you can and then fit a dummy lambda sensor that provides a constant reading for the ECU. they dont come recommended and can apparently play havoc with the ECU. looked into it myself - it was straight forward when there was only one sensor b4 the cat........

was gonna do this on my compressor when i got my custom exhaust done, but couldn't find anything to trick the sensors.

fensport sell them - i think its in the universal parts section. i've heard bad things about them but that doesnt make it so! i would get as much advice as possible of people who know more then us. remember you will have to refit the cat for MOT - although that wont apply to you for a bit. i would be hesitant doing such a thing while the car is under warranty especially if you are still getting a few niggles sorted.

I spoke to silverstone performance about it at the time and the advised against it.

Although he would do coz he was trying to talk me into having the intercooler fitted (+35bhp)

Will defo do the intercooler when my warranty runs out..... maybe sooner!!!!!!!!!
