Wonder why he never split them up, just most people would want one or two not them all??

I'm interested in the suspension, but no idea how much they're worth after a quick google.

Could have my arm twisted into a group buy like! :D

I'm interested in the typhoon and possibly strut brace if anyone wants to group buy???

Just messaged him about it on ebay, if it doesnt sell he will consider splitting

If I can find out roughly what the struts are worth I'd be up for that! :D

thats my mate

Why'd he bung them all on together mate, thought he'd have had a bigger interest in them all as singles??

I've messaged him on ebay about the Teins, induction kit and strut brace.. he wants £400 for them.

Don't know how to split the cost if we do go ahead tbh!

Hmmmmmm. Been thinking of this one. I might be way off here, I'm no maths guru, but if we find the costs of the parts new add them together and work out each part as a percentage of the cost. We could then divide the £400 by those same percentages working out a prorated cost for each part.

I've had a few beers, so I may be talking total <the spuds of lurrrrvve>s though!! :D

them wheels look tiny? same strut brace as mine although that picture dont do it justice. suspension it worth a look but you cant seem drop um much more than 30mm without causing the shafts to knock. when i bought mine they had had a couple with knocking shafts after coilovers where fitted and i've seen a few on here have the same trouble.

Knocking shafts? That doesn't sound too good like. As much as I'd love to jump in on a (drunken) whim as normal, maybe I should look into these a little more before spending the green. I want to drop the car as little as possible is the thing, I like the way it is now looks wise, I just want to firm up the handling without the drop (or as little as possible). So you say you have them already fitted? Do they drop much on standard, or did you drop them yourself??

And yeah those wheels are a little small, which is a shame cos I quite like them!

Cheers! :D

i am willing to buy the suspension, so are we going to group buy this??

I just want to lower my car

i just bought a set of new wheels few days ago, damn, if not i will buy them,

anyway, my new wheels are 17" with 205/40 tyre, they doesnt look that small in reality, and i think it looks small in the picture is because it is too close up and the angle he shot from.

Knocking shafts, so how to solve this problem??

when i bought mine a was chatting to the mechanic - pretty decent fella. he was asking me if i was gonna do anything with her. when i mentioned lowering he asked what i was gonna use - just a set of eibachs. he went on to tell me that two t sports they had sold the owners fitted coilovers and dropped um to the floor - they had to keep replacing the shafts cos it was knackering the cv joint. one fells took the coilovers off and sold the car! someone on here dropped his to the floor on coilovers and his shafts are/were knocking. i presume if you fit coilovers and only do a 30mm drop there shouldnt be a problem.

if your shafts are knocking - there knackered. i can measure from hub to arch if you want? mines lowered 30mm on eibachs. are you sure its the shafts knocking? the droplinks dont like to be refitted - both mine gave up when i fitted the springs. if it only makes a noise on bumps look at them first, easy to check and cheap to replace. hope its not the shafts - i did warn you when you got um

yes indeed u did warn me. yeh if its possible cud u measure the hub to arch for me, so i know how much to raise. i get the sound wen im moving at low speeds, so its not bumps. Sounds like it is my shafts :crybaby: how much does it cost to replace? i think its best to take to a garage

Thanks for the warning 51plate! and welcome to TOC

I think we should leave the group buy and when no bids on the job lot we should individually email the seller our best offers, it seems he is willing to take a lot less than we have anticpated to offer him.
