Hi,

I have a 99 hatchback corolla. I got this is in january but the inside, the boot and the lights around the heater controls are not working.

I have checked all the bulbs and they are working and I have checked all the fuses and they are all working.

We checked if there was powere going to the light fixing but their is not.

I was trying to trace the wire but it was just to much of a mess to find where the wire was going to.

Anybody know where I could get a wiring diagram or have any ideas on how to fix this??

Cheers,

Daniel.

have you checked fuses ?

We checked all the fuses and they were all working. I got a friend to check it all with some elecrical gadget. There is power on all the fuses but it is not reaching the lights so it looks like a break somewhere along the line. The problem is trying to find where

Cheers,

Daniel.

Did you find all of the fuses?

There were fuses in under the bonnet and in both kick panels on the earlier model, though that model had the 'trunk' light on the 20 Amp 'Dome' fuse which was located in the engine bay.

Not sure about your model, but it should all be in the handbook.

Check them visually as well.

We checked all them also. I did take out each fuse and have a look at them and they all looked fine.

It looks like the previous owner had a mobile cradle in the car and I am wondering if he had ben using the power for that . . .

Another problem that might help solve this problem. Each time I re-start the car, the time starts at 1 o clock. It can be reset but it just reverts back each time I start the car . .

Cheers
