Some jackass decided he would muscle his way through when it was my right off way with his crappy red sierra estate.

Forcing me to have to avoid him which made me hit a kerb.

Now I have a small ding in my alloy more like a scratch and it knocked all the air out of the tire.

Left it with my tire guys hopefully it will just need reinflating, seating and balancing.

I dont want to pay out for a new tire

The place I go are pretty honest and wouldnt normally fob me off with a tire if I didnt need it.

right thats that off my chest!

Ive seen this a lot since moving from my 4x4 just 2 weeks ago, ive gone from having respect from volvos to being bullied out of the way, ho hum,

They probably rely on the fact that 1) Their car is bigger than yours,so you'll swerve or brake to avoid them or 2) They're driving an old banger,so couldn't care 2 hoots if they scrape into someone.They realize anyone with a half decent car is going to stay clear of them.They're probably uninsured anyway-another reason just to stay out of their way.

Sorry you've had to get a new tyre and got a kerbed alloy from this incident.Did they stop?Do you have their reg?

i had this the other day - we live on a very narrow road because of all the idiots leaving lorries parked there while they have breakfast - they are not supposed to use the road but they park so they block one side up totally. i pull into a gap to let a car come through and out of nowhere an audi shoots past me (lights are in in our car so it's obvious we are waiting) and tries to get the two cars i am letting go to reverse up. annoyed me so much i pulled out and blocked him in....only for a minute but was lovely having him shout at me and turning red when it was clearly his own fault. not sure what it is with those cars but they seem to make people very aggresive.

glad you just had a wheel to deal with, could have been nasty!
