Auris 2.0 D4d Mpg In The Real World

Recommended Posts

Hi All

On the verge of buying an Auris 2.0 D4D T-Spirit.

The book says its good for 54mpg combined.

What are real world figures that can be expected.

My typical route to work is A roads, averaging 40mph with few roundabouts, 17 miles in total.

I normally don't push hard, I like a relaxed drive and usually cruise at 50.

ps. brochure is a bit confusing about the electric mirrors. Are they electrically folding ???? or just electrically adjusted and heated.

p.p.s Any one got anything bad to say about this car

Hi

I get around 52mpg, Do about 500 miles a week at the moment, thats less than I was

Dont have a T-sprit but dont think the mirrors fold

My car averages about 45-50 mpg, running around towns and a bit of the countryside. However 50+ mpg is easy if your a motorway driver.

As for the mirrors, I have the TR model which is below the T-Spirit and mine are just electrically adjusted and heated, but I think the T-spirit will be the same.

And for bad things to say? It goes through front tyres, but the T-spirit with have traction control. The top glove box lid rattles but thats it. Overall its a nice car, just wish i'd held out for the new SR trim

I dive on similar roads with traffic as you and average 45MPG but I love to use the torque and the front tires are a bit worn. So I would expect you to get 47-55mpg if not more.
