Hi all,

Can anyone help me with this..... on the right handside of the dash beside the mirror controls there is a button which ive never found out what it does.

Its like the rear heater window sign but has a line then 3 wiggle lines going up,and a orange light when pushed in, its only present on the d4d models!!!!!!

I never had the manual for the car as the garage said possibly the previous owner has it.

Maybe it is the power heater button, for when it is too cold for the engine??

I assume you have a diesel??

yes its a power heater.

when it is cold you use it to help warm the inside of the car.

this is because diesel engines take longer to warm than petrol hence it would take longer for the heater matrix to warm up.

It's the power heater button, covered under previous posting.

I have it fitted on a T-Spirit. The heater only works when the outside temperature is below 8C, I was advised to you press the power heater button, turn the temp to max and turn the A/C on and fan to max. Within about 2 minutes the air temp starts to get warmer and takes the edge off in the cold mornings.

Not brillaint but it does work.
