hope it a cheap and quick solution mate

went back to the dealer (INDEPENDANT) left it with them for five days, called in and they informed me that they rang toyota and were advised to to put 4 litres of oil in it (which brings it above the max max on the dipstick by 1.5cm!!!! but i have to bring it back when i have done 500 miles only done 120 so far but have noticed a small decrease.

still hopeing and dont know waht to do if it is losing so much oil as it is 8 years old and if it lost so much oil what type of condition is the engine now??

the severe oil consumption is caused by the piston rings becoming clogged up with carbon deposits and sticking leaving a gap between the piston and the bore therefore oil gets burned in the combustion process the solution is a new short motor sorry mate
