Fitting Hid's To A Mk2 Rev1

Ive just been told ive got £700 in my ISA and a mate of mine is selling his H4 HID's for £60! winner!

Has anyone got a write up on how to fit HID's preferably to a MR2 so i can relate too it.

Im shocking with Electrics! lol

Buy some Phillips +80 bulbs and plug those in instead.

You'll get pretty much the same result and save yourself a lot of hassle and £35.

And you'll stay legal too.

Fit the HID's!!!

HID's are great compared to the poor Jap bulbs etc.

Not that hard a job, but I've not done it on a Mr2.

Is it a complete kit with balasts etc etc?

That's my main worry with them; they give you great vision, but if you blind the guy who's coming towards you, then it doesn't matter how well you can see where you're going if he loses it and comes onto your side of the road.

I wouldn't even have the legal OE ones with self-leveling and headlight washers, never mind a set of dodgy bulbs fitted to a light unit that was never designed to take them.
