how to get out stock radio and cd player out of mkii mr2 gt turbo without damaging them!!! wanna get a pocket to fill one space and im fitting my own sony radio!!! gonna change all the Speakers too!!! any pics too wud b a great help!! dont wannna mangle my dash,as only got the car

Looks like a massive task but dead easy after the first time you have done it!!.. hardest part for me was unclipping the hazzard light switch as it was pretty tight.

do i use the brass mounts screwed to both sides of the stock radio to mount my new sony hd units cage too?? nerw at this crack used have a lexus never lifted a finger with it lol cheers bud

The original mounting brakets should be used. If you still have the original filler piece (as shown in the link) you may want to replace it with one of these:

The Sony cage 'may' need to be drilled to get the stock braket holes in the correct place. This will allow you to get the angle and amount of the new unit protruding correct.

BTW you may need an ISO adaptor as well.
