Corolla E12 Body Work

This aimed at Corolla E12, 2001/2-2006, out of curiosity do they suffer from rust on the body work, the exterior? & is it a common problem if it does? i did a search & didnt find anything, on older corolla's yes but not this one. No i havent got rust & hope i wont do anywhere in future !! just that i was looking at my old mazda 323F forum & the 2001-2003(facelift) mazda 323F suffers from it as it is a common problem like the rear wheel arch area as lot of people experienced it in UK, europe, america & canada & the problem is worst than the older generation& prefacelift mazda 323f's due to quality of steel & probably paint quality mazda used as result of saving money luckily my 2003 mazd 323f didnt have it & probably good thing i sold it for the TS at the time.........

Hi, I work in a Toyota maindealer bodyshop and we have never had any rust probs with the E12.

Don't know about any other shops though!
