Car salesmen do sometimes get a bad name - but I have nothing but praise for mine. I went to pick up my free boot liner (worth £31 & only negotiated after I agreed a price for the car - mind I did wait 5 weeks for it). I just happened to ask them how much a litre of oil would be - the lady went out the back & came back with it & said it was free of charge (would have cost £9.99) - as I had bought the car from them very recently.

Does anyone else have good experiences like this from their dealers?

I ordered an mmt sport and went to pick it up. Unfortunately it had a manual gearbox and the car had to be reordered.

This took 7 weeks and I borrowed a Corolla free of charge for this time.

I was given a set of genuine mats and full Dynoglaze treatment to compensate without asking.

Nothing but praise for this dealer.

Always found listers very helpful and good, if they made a mistake they were quick to rectify and componsate, service costs seem good got some free oil, never a hard sell, cant complain.

I also use Listers in Lincoln. They go out of their way to help, and are always excellent with pricing and service etc.

I just wish that all dealers were as good.

My suppling dealer, Benfield of Wakefield were more than happy to take my money, but then a member of their staff got caught speeding in my car, when thet collected it the next day for some remedial work that should have been noticed at P.D.I.

I nearly had to go to court to clear my name. I have never been back since.

Nothing but praise for Simms in northampton, gave me the little care package with oil and a little chuck away camera incase i have a smash so i can get on the spot picks.

They also said they would sort me out with some free stuff if i refferred someone who bought a car from them, my old boss is about to order an aygo and a auris, so i want something good, but they did mention free tank of petrol, or a free service so il wait and see.

The finance guy almost gifted me his mont blanc pen aswell, but i was honest enough to give it back.......foolish.

I forgot they also messed up and gave me a free set of carpet mats that are under the "protected pack" rubber ones that i paid for, and a £700 discount to top all that off!

First post hello all..we just got our Aygo+ from Inchcape (Guildford) outstanding customer service I must say..and £500 pounds discount and a half tank petrol and they added 3 years road tax paid for into it all.
