Installing Sub In 2000 Avensis

I've got an Avensis 2000 2.0 CDX (6 CD autochanger, old-school sat-nav etc).

I'd quite like to keep the stereo as it is, but I've got a nice Kicker sub currently gathering dust in the garage which I would like to install. I don't know much about it, so I'm going to get a mate to do it for me.

Anyway, he would like to know if the standard Toyota stereo has RCA outputs for the sub.

Also, does anyone have any extra tips on installing a sub / removing the stereo etc in this model?

Thanks in advance for your advice :)

Nobody on here had any experience of audio mods on an Avensis?? I kinda thought this would be the right place to ask

Is has no RCA's. I've owned a 2002 Avensis and I took out the CD changer and replaced it with my Kenwood headunit. If you have satnav you can't just remove the cd changer because the satnav won't work with out it, so you must hide it behind the glove compartment. But the wires are too short for that so you'll have to extend them.

A LOT of work.

Regards,

Guido
