Should It Be Single Or Dohc

Hi all, bought my 1st 1996 import celica but the cam has gone,for some reason everywhere i go to try getting a cam kit they say it should be dohc and not a single cam and there for cant get it sorted could someone please help me out with this prob as I dont want to have to get rid of the car.

P.S vin plate says engine type 3S-FE

Its a dohc, just search for it in google, you might struggle on getting a cam for that one, maybe you could put on a ge head and change the ecu, I'm not sure on that though

Its a dohc, just search for it in google, you might struggle on getting a cam for that one, maybe you could put on a ge head and change the ecu, I'm not sure on that though

thats the prob with it being a single cam, was thinking maybe putting dohc in but would it create bigger probs lol

3S-FE are DOHC engines, if the one in your Celica is SOHC fu*k knows what engine is in it.
