I've got an avensis 2l d4d which has done 52,000 miles.Does anyone know if there is an indicator service light that comes on when you reach the service mileage.Nothing has come up but today the yellow engine icon has come up.On looking at my manual it says that I have a malfunction in either my electrical system,engine control system or emission control system which is worrying me,although the car is running beautifully at the mo.Does this icon represent a servicing need or something more worrying.Also can anybody who is local to Orpington recommend a trusted servicing garage.Many many thanks for any help.

NO servive indicator light on your vehicle. Unless other forum user know's otherwise.

I believe your service procedure is every 10,000 & 20,000 miles.

Odds being minor service, even's being major service. Ex: 60,000 miles cambelt change.

EML light coming on denotes engine & associated parts may have problem. Could be dead Glow Plug or loose connection even.

All guess work to many factors can switch light on, best to bring it to garage for fault diagnosis.

this icon is for engine mulfunction and most probably it is connected to a cat. converter. I 've changed mine at 75k (km) due to have ON thhe same yellow icon.

be carefull & have the engine PC tested shortly otherwise you'll never know another probllem with engine , if any.
