hay i seem to be burning oil ive talkd to my machanic and a engine recon and they said it could be 2 things either the rings but the car doesnt seem to smoke or the valve stem seals i plain to fix both to get rid of the problem what i would like to know is if i should do anything else to the motor while its in pices ? or what you think could be wrong with my car i own a bzg levin

i would recommend having new big end bearings fitted while it is in pieces. one thing to try to if you are still driving the car would be to let the car coast down a hill in 3rd or 4th doing around 40mph and then floor the throttle if you notice any smoke after you have tried this its most likely your valve stem oil seals that need to be replaced allow the car to coast for as long as possible.

as said above most likely the valve stem oil seals.. but my mate has a levin and they is very smokey they are just a smokey engine cos of the 20 valves and his one is in perfect condition
