Drivers Door Locked Shut

Hi

The drivers door lock on my 2000 Celica has stopped working. Unfortunatly the door is closed. I have tried taking the cable off from the locking lever inside and pulling it with some pliers but still nothing. have also tried to disconect the rod from the external door lock and given that a pull still nothing. It is due to go into Toyota on Wednesday to see what they can do. If any one has any ideas or knows how to remove a door lock from a closed door without damaging the door then it would be most appriciated.

I am really sorry but I have no idea about the problem with your door......can you remove the door card itself first? Dont know if this can be done with the door closed though...so no help at all really...
