Got quoted £390 from the local Toyota dealer here in Inverness, seems a bit costly, what do you reckon?

Running at 64,500 + miles at the moment

Ta.

Is this for the 60k service, as I believe this is classed as a major service... + the normal dealer £70+ hour labour rates

Ask them for a break down of the cost and what's involved.....

I was just joking on the part of the labour rates main dealers charge. Best to let them tell you where your hard earned £390 is going.....

If it's just oil and filter changes plus kicking the tyres...that's excessive....

Seems a lot of dealers think 60,000 miles = cambelt change or check and just stick in the extra cost without checking it is in the schedule.

That seems a bit steep when i took my XT5 for its service 1st time was @£130 and second service was @£180 , second service was more expensive as it was a "bigger service"what ever that means? but £300 does seem a bit high shop around B Sinead you might even be cheaper gettin the boat :boat: over to Scottiland and get it done over here but not in Inverness !!!!! :D
