Removing Console Around Gear Lever?

Hi all,

I was charging my mobile using the cigarette lighter and unfortunately the top of the lighter rolled under the handbrake and dropped through the gaiter below. I can't get it out without dismantling the sections around the gear lever and handbrake. If it's easy I'll do it but don't want to start and damage anything for the sake of a ciggie lighter.

Has anyone done this or should I just leave it rolling around and buy a replacement? It's a brand new model by the way.

Its easy enough. It shows you how to do it here in these handbrake adjusting instructions;

........or hire a Bothy. He appears to enjoy a good wind-up and he's mobile(ish) :D

That's great news thanks for the link!

Yep, good idea about the wind-up phone haha! Maybe I should just chuck the whole thing out of the window anyway!
