Coils For Rav4 Question..

Hi All

I have just purchased a 2004 Rav4 XT with a 2AZFE engine and I have a Random cylinder missfire on number 2 and 3 cylinders.

Have had it diagnosed to the coil packs.

I was looking for some used coil pack and come across this on eBay

EBAY

Looks like a very good buy as I could keep two spare if and when they go bad..

What do you think? can you find a better buy?

Cheers

Rolfy

You could ask kingo how much it is for 2 and then decide if it is a good price. If you end up with 4 I would fit them all and keep the 2 good ones as spares.

Have you tried swapping the coils to a different cylinder to see if the miss fire goes with them?

Regards

Hi Anchorman

Thanks for the quick reply, yes the missfire follows the defective coil packs thats how we diagnosed it..

I have checked with the dealer and the price of 4 coil packs is £355 after the VAT so It looks a very good deal, would be good to have a couple spare as well

Its worth checking with kingo as he often offers good discount and will deliver them to your home. You could also try a good motor factor as coil packs are available for popular makes. If the price is very much differentyou could throw that in to the equation. If the item doesn't sell you could make the seller a reduced offer and then buy it via eBay.

Good luck.

Hi Parts King

The price on eBay for the same parts is £100 cheaper, I know it's eBay but the guy has good feedback regarding Toyota parts..

But Thanks for the offer..
