D4d Fuel Injection Pump Woes

Hi first post and all that :)

I've had an intermittent problem with poor power delivery which has finally been diagnosed as a couple of valves inside the fuel injection pump. I've been told that i need the whole pump replacing as there is no valve kit available.

A search on this thread http://toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47973&st=60&start=60 suggests that's at least for the RAV that's not the case. I was wondering if a kit was available for the 2002 D4D 90hp in the Corolla? Toyota are quoting me £960 which includes a discount because of the amount of *$%£$^ around they've done over the last month -that is a whole other story, needless to say i'm trying every avenue before handing any more cash over.
