Exhaust Help Needed

Hey guys, i need an exhaust section as mine is now too corroded. Its the section that bends over the rear axle to the backbox, its only a short piece. I tried TCB parts and trevor said he doesnt have any in stock, any ideas where i could source this part as i need it for the M.O.T.

just go to a custom exhaust shop, they should be able to fabricate you one in about an hour if they are worth their salts, it's basically the backbox section your after.

worst case senario you could phone fensport and ask them to supply you with a Blitz Nur-Spec ;) lol

Is it a stock exhaust?

I think you may struggle to find one, and when you do it's likely to be difficult, if not impossible to separate the bit that's gone from the rest of your exhaust without cutting it.

If you think it will come apart then look for people breaking GT4s on eBay or ask on the GT4OC; if you can find someone with a recent import that has upgraded to a stainless system then you may be in luck.

Other than that, if you're planning on keeping the car you might be best off pricing up a complete stainless system so that you can have the whole thing replaced with something that will last.

why fensport? you can get a nur spec cheaper else where.

the blue flame (mongoose) is a good spec system if your on a budget

first name that came to mind mate, i had the blueflame system on my old four and i'll be getting another for my next four as it was a top system, especially for the price :)

Yeah it is stock exhaust, except for a s/s backbox. Is the blueflame cat back? What kind of exhaust tip does it come with?? 4"?

P.S where is best to buy the mongoose system??

the blue flame is the same as the mongoose IIRC, it's a cat back system with a 4.5" slash cut tip, that price seams about right, i paid £300 on a group buy a few years ago.

it came with it, JDM optional extra. i actually kept it when i sold my car lol will be fitted to a new one by the end of the year ;)

they come up on e-bay from time to time, rarely sell cheaply tho. think they just get called hatch spoilers or roof top spoilers

Going back to the price, i've just had a look at amber-performance, i can't seem to find any exhaust for the 205/185 for £251, they are £372.

Am i missing something?

flippin heck man your right, i cant believe they could hike the price up like that!!! gutted because i havent bought one yet and i need on for the end of next month for the MOT. Dang!! anybody know of any other alternative??

I bought a mongoose cat-back exhaust system, looks pretty good. My local car garage will fit it for me, but will i need to also buy the exhaust gasket kit etc or will the garage be able to sort that out??
