Can anyone help? have just bought some great new wheels (ok off eBay maybe I should know better) thay are shod with 215/40/17 front and 135/4017 rear and were fitted to a uk spec Rev2, I put them on my Rev2 turbo and the suspension legs jam right on top and scrub the tyres, is the uk spec different? can I get round this cos the wheels look great.......just cant move the car lol

Thanks mate, trouble is they need to be moved about 25mm out board and they would foul the arch at that and studs would not reach. I am fairly sure they are a 38 offset. she is a fresh jap import and I am starting to think that the previous honarable owner may have lowered the springs somehow

If you stand the car on level ground and measure from the ground to the wheel arch what distance to you get?

With stock wheels, tyres and suspension my Rev 3 arches sit at 25" from the ground. (I just measured it because I'm getting coilovers on next week and want to check the difference before and after).

Thanks mate must be something about black ones lol mine is black, will have a look at spacers not sure that is the problem tho it is the plate that the spring sits on that is fouling when I drop her off the jack it is sitting right on top of the tyre

Ok Guys thanks for all your help problem solved, but you were all wrong, the real answer is as follows

1, dont try swapping your wheels after a bad day when your head is a shed

2, if you put the back wheels on the front axle they dont fit

3, best plan put front wheels on the front and back wheels on the back this seems to work better.

Thanks again guys do I get the plank of the month award??????
