I'm waiting on a set of rollover bars being delivered, according to the seller they fit straight onto factory pre drilled locations, does anyone have any knowledge of fitting a set and if there's any trim mods required, i dont want to cut my Roadster trim.

Hi MOJ

I assume you mean "Style bars"? if so they will fit in pre drilled locations but you might need to trim your trim to make them fit

Regarding your other post (if we keep it on one it stays tidy ;) )

You do know they are just style bars and not actual roll bars, there is even a "Slim" chance that they may cause more injury than if they weren't fitted?

To fit a proper roll bar (if they made one)would mean ripping out most of the interior and the weight added would be ridiculous, not to mention the cost.

I was gonna go ahead and get a pair of rollover bars, but now you've said that, there seems little point in doing so. Unless I just want some sparkly expensive added weight for my car?! - They do look pretty though... B)

the "david style" [hoops]

require cutting the plastics.

think these are about 500-600 dollars. if i remember right.[around that price range]

the Frenzy style "long" [hoop-ish/bend] can be found on eBay

the above two are mainly cosmetic.

here are some install pics of a roll-bar [for safety purpose and re-inforcement]

can also check out roll bars etc.install and pics over @ www.spyderchat.com
