Blower Moter Fuse

I have a 2001 UK 1600cc VVT-i Corolla with manual air con.

The lower speeds on the blower don't work, the fastest does. From the wiring diagram in the Hayes manual it look like it could be the blower motor fuse.

Can anyone help me locate this?

Regards

David

The location of the fuse should be listed in your owners manual.

However, I very much doubt that it has separate fuses for different speeds - the speed is usually controlled by a resistor pack with many resistors employed for low speed, and none for high speed. I think it's more likely that some of the resistors in your resistor pack have burnt out.

Thanks for the reply.

I have found the fuse on the blower motor resistor board. It is blown but the board is marked "do not repair".

I found the unit by removing the trim panel below the glove box and it was located forward on the right hand side accessed by removing 2 cross head screws.

Regards

David
