HI everyone.

I'm the new owner of a 1999 MR-S import and what can i saw but i'm in love. Theres just one little thing that i want to change in the way of it's appearance though. I've seen some great looking alloys, a set of Kei racing kruze in hyperblack at 17". I was wondering will i get away with 215/40r17 or will i have to go for 205/40r17's without touching the archs at all? Many thanks for any help.

1st of all.. welcome to TOC and secondly.. GREAT choice in wheels..

I have...

205/40x17 - front

215/45x17 - rear

My car has also been lowered on Tien springs... 2 reasons for this..

1. It looked like it was on stilts with the 17's

2. As the front end was sitting higher than normal (due to the wheels) it felt VERY light at higher speeds (m/way) the lowering springs made a huge difference to both the handling and the looks..

Oh great, thanks for the info.

It's great to see what they look like on the car as well. Thats a great looking motor you have there. Mines already been lowered, so i've just got to shop about a bit to get a good price for the alloys. Then it's onto tweaking the engine me thinks.

Thanks again.
