Turbo Lag

hi just bought a 96 glanza v,ive wnted one for years its my first car and all round i lve it cuz im mad bout glanzas. its in imac condition,and drives beutifuly its had a few modifications and is quick but ive noticed especially in the higher gears when you give it the full boot! it seems to rev lyk mad but u dnt get the power on the road staright away.i then take my of the accelerator in fear of damaging the car! i havnt drove another one so i dnt know is this normall and just turbo lag! it will be a relief if it is! thanks

well i understand that turbo lag is at low rpms, when there is not enought pressure in the pipes to spin the turbine wheel. at high rpm there is enough pressure to move the turbine wheel that is inside the turbo housing, and this will give more power to the car.

Thats why supercharger dosen't have lag, because they are spining all the time by a belt. at low and high rpms.

Atleast this is what i know, if im wrong someone correct me plz ;)
