Just wondered have seen the celica in local dealership i think its a celica gt-s with that Evo spoiler on the *****, it looks rather mean is this car the same spec as our CTS ie lift; engine; 0-60; etc ?? :D

As far as i know it's called a Celica GT and is basically a Celica TS with a different trim.

same engine as our cts, think it has two ecu's as we have one. lovely looking cars the gt would love one myself.

I saw one at a Toyota dealership not so long back. Beautiful looking motors. Couldn't quite understand myself why they weren't fitted with the Compressor engine?

When the compressor first came out there was a rumour that the end of line Celicas would get forced induction too. But then it never happened. I think they had a lot of problems with the compressors in the early days, and maybe they realized they could easily sell the end of line Celicas without all that hassle.
