If you have any experience on how long do Previa's brakepads last, please share that with me. I have 27000 kms (abt 17000 miles) on my Previa and brakepads are gone. Normal?

I changed out my front brake pads at 20k miles on my 03 Previa. At 35k miles, my rears are still good and I expect to have to do the fronts again at 40k although nothing was mention at my last service and MOT but they are easy enough to check.

We do lots of short hops between villages with some motorway driving but not long distances.

They don't last long at all in our case. We do lots of short journeys in town, lots of braking + it's a heavy vehicle. I would expect them to be replaced every other service so about 20k miles. If we did a lot more motorway driving, I would expect them to last longer. It's one of the items that makes running a Previa expensive compared with a regular car.
