the jap manifold is different apparently. order from fensport to save you getting the wrong one. search the forum someone a while ago had a problem as they got sent the jap spec one. i would look into it if i was you before ordering. how did you get on with the shafts?

Turns out Fensport is actually cheaper, so im gna order the manifold from them. but they said they just ordered some and they wont get them for another 5-6 weeks, which is ok, means i can save up for the custom exhaust. im gna Order the Compressor rear lip from Parts King tomorrow so i can get a custom dual exhaust. CANT WAIT hopefully ill b able to get the exhaust done by June/ July

As for the shaft, i took my car to a local garage yesterday and he had a look with me next to him and it turns out its the Drop link on the passenger side is rubbing onto the coilover, it looks like the Anti roll bar is bent out a bit on that side bcos on the drivers side the drop link is bout 1 inch away from the coilover. So its either the ppl who fitted it didnt allign the anti roll bar in the centre or the anti roll bar is a bit bent. so im gna try and see if i can push the anti roll bar to the centre more if not ill probs just change bak to the original Anti roll bar and that shud fix it. FINGERS CROSSED, dont want this too cost too much bcos im saving up for exhaust obviously, ive added up how much everything for the exhaust will cost and itll come upto bout £2k

Does an uprated manifold make a noticeable difference if the rest of the system is standard?

I ask because i've never put an uprated manifold on a car, anyone had any experience?

i did suggest the droplink...... i managed to knacker one of mine when I changed the springs. at least they are cheap - only about £15. you will struggle to move the anti roll bar - you'll need to take it out of the bushes. at least there's some good news. that's the trouble with most garages - crap :( thats why i do stuff myself, you know if its done right and if it aint you know who to blame. i cant believe how many "enthusiasts" take a car to a garage to fit suspension...........

yeh i was thinking that i probs hav to loosen the bushes, hopefully we'll b able to reach it. Well i do all the easy things myself, but i dnt know how to change the suspension and had to take out the hole sub frame to change the front anti roll bar, so thats def something i didnt wanna do myself. im gna try and see if i can fix it myself on sunday. Wish me luck

GOOD LUCK :D shocks are relatively easy to change. what anti - roll bar did you get? drop the sub frame to change the anti-roll bar? i'm not tryin to teach you how to suck eggs but make sure you use an allen key on the centre of the drop link to stop it spinning and knackering - i learnt the hard way way a few years back first time i changed me suspension. also you'll need a pry bar to push down the anti-roll bar to take the strain of the link, these modern links are under a lot of tension compared to how they use to be - i didnt realise that and thats how i knackered one when changing the springs on me cts. another tip is to retighten the droplinks once you put the car back on the ground but you'll need a ramp.
