It had proper dinky little coil overs the lot.

What a great little tarmac car realy set me thinking.....................

how can u possibly rally with it, when it has such a weak engine? Whats the point of it?

That looks excellent!

Did it have the S/C or it would be a bit behind ...lol unless its racing other aygos. Although Paul did well at the sprint rally with his aygo, against mr2 and the like!!

I'll try to find out a bit more about it.

Our Corolla came from that company and a mate of mine knows the owner very well. I knew it was getting the roll cage, but don't know what the engine is.

Looks like a lot of fun though.

As the name suggests Formula 1000 is for 1 litre cars, so it's relatively cheap & closely fought racing.

Only one Aygo in the current tarmac championship & Micras seem to dominate, although whether this is down to greater second-hand availability or better performance I don't know.

Looks like fun. Anyone else willing to stick a roll cage in their beloved Aygo?

The Micra's have dominated this class, because they are cheap, plentiful, and you can rev them for ever and they just ask for more. They do have their weeknesses though and that is where the Aygo should come into its own.

But because they are relatively new and competition parts are few and far between at the moment, Aygo's will remain scarce until bits and cars become more afordable.

I think the cage was a custom item. I remember having a conversation with Custom Cages, and they were doing an Aygo a while back.

I bet its a riot to drive. I'm soooooooo jealous.

Anybody know what bits have been added? If there are coilovers which fit, I'd like some! :D

Maybe just call that phone number on the side to find out more

Well IIRC I was told that it was done in their (Copcutt's) bodyshop.

If only there was a way we could get their name and number you could ring them and ask how much. ;)
