Will a normal cat gutted out be as strong as an aussie decat/blitz and if so what are the power differentials..? ie how much can it take going thru it...! chz in advance..

How do you mean as strong??

a gutted cat would do fine, however there is kind of an 'elbow' on the cat which causes a restriction, so for the cost and convenience while its off (the removal is a PAIN IN THE ANAL HOLE) then you may as well place a nice light downpipe on there, and get the extra couple of ponies :)

yup it is, and it will have to come off the car too, so you may as well just replace it for a downpipe...

taking the flexi/b-pipe off and bashing the cat with a chisel while on the car, is a no go!
