Hello from Sunny Michigan! I'm trying to get answers on my Toyota Camry Solara (2001). It was Brothers, & he had me on the title. When he died, I had to drive it home. So I stumbled upon you fine folks while Googling for answers on the car.

My very favorite car was my 1990 Honda Civic wagon (I named Baby Blue) that I got new & drove until I brought the Solara home. Although Baby had some Michigan Cancer, the heater was great, the mileage was 38-40mpg. That coupled with the ability to hold everything including the baby & the kitchen sink made me its slave.

When Baby blew a head gasket (3 different garages told me the check engine light was no big deal, ignore it... . sigh. I then bought a 1997 RAV-4 from the man down the street. It is great, but mileage is in low 20's & it can't carry what the baby did.

Now that the Solara owns me, I need to get answers. Nearest Toyota dealer is 150 miles away. I called Toyota Customer Service & asked about a couple of issues... they say no problems with my car. So here I am. Gonna pick brains & ask questions & be a chatty Kat. If it's ok with you all.
