just picked up my 6 month old aygo the other day.

Ive noticed that the clutch pedal sometimes seems to feel like it is sticking on the way back up when you change gear/depress the pedal and lift off.

as you lift your foot the pedal seems slow to react/stuck, leading to overevving of the engine and some horrendous take off noises.

dodgy spring?

needs lubricated?

Try a bit of WD40

Or if you have none, lard is usually quite good!

I had the same problem found out it was the mat getting stuck on the pedal.

Same as Trev.

It was the rubber floor mat out of position and the pedal was catching on the edge when fully depressed.
