Just a very simple question:

How long can you use the radio while your engine is off - before it would drain the Battery enough for the car not to start?

I'm new to owning a brand new car & had not had a car for 15 years previously - so am a bit rusty in the ways they work.

ive found with mine it will turn itself off after a certain amount anyway (was about 20-30mins i think with volume around the 10-12 mark). not sure how long though till the Battery runs out

I think it would take quite a long period to drain the Battery (overnight maybe). The manual says the radio turns itself off after 30 mins.

I had the Battery in my old car die on me a couple of years ago. I was listening to the radio while waiting for my parents at the doctors. They were in there for about half an hour and when they got back the car wouldn't start.

The AA did some tests and they said the Battery was knackered, it wouldn't charge properly.

I bunged in a new one and problem solved.

Bear in mind that the Aygo has a smaller Battery than usual.
