Just noticed in a post by Jeff Mccroy that he said his Aygo has Deadlocks. Mine doesn't. Could some Aygo owners please confirm the models with or without deadlocks.

Hi,

If you'd read further down you would have seen that I realised that I was mistaken, you can still pop up the button from the inside when the car is locked remotely. Aygo's dont have deadlocks.

The only way to create deadlocks is if you have remote central locking and you trim the buttons length so it is flush with the door when it is down, making it impossible to pull up, however it means you cant unlock the car from the inside unless you have the key, so not really recommended.

and if you reach in and pull the car door handle from the inside it will still open, kind of defeats the object of cutting the door buttons down!

Made me laugh though

Not on the Aygo. They don't auto open the lock.

No, the handles don't work when it is locked no matter how many times you pull. Thats why i was originally misled into thinking the car had deadlocks in the first place.

My last 2 cars (Mini Cooper and Ford Puma) didnt have pull up locks below the window, I had overlooked this with the Aygo
