Anything to be gained from installing one or is the only bonus that it looks nicer under the bonnet?

Read all the bumph about it reducing operating temperatures in the engine etc etc but not being a mechanic i don't know if that's good/bad as the cap seems to fit a number of Toyota's but with ours being VVTL-i i just thought i'd double check it was safe to add!

Just fancy making the engine bay a bit nicer but don't want to add anything if it will adversely affect the engine.

So, anybody know anything about them??

:help:

dont listen to the trash the site tells you about its "benifits". at the end of the day it will do the same job your cap is doing right now. only difference being the apperance. if you just want to make you engine bay look nicer then, go for it!

i think its looks shiny...i have an apexi one on my car...

the whole point of them is that there 1.3 bar instead of 0.9 bar...the higher pressure highers the boiling point of the water/coolant which gives better cooling...but i think its a gimick...sure does look good though
