Timing Belt - When To Change?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me what is the recommended mileage at which I need to replace the timing belt on my Corolla? It's a V-reg 1.3 SE and it has done 51k miles.

Unfortunately, I have no documentation/Haynes manual to tell me the answer.

Cheers

Maz.

not dead sure for that model, but it's often around the 50-60k mark.

However, as with all timing belt issues, if you're in any doubt then change it. It's not an expensive or difficult part to change and gives you that instant peace of mind.
