How Do I Fit Cup Holder?

Hi.

i've just bought an MR2 cup holder for underneath my stereo, but i can't fit it cos the blank plate that pops out underneath leaves a hole which is not big enough.

I have removed the centre panel and the Stereo holder but the space for the cup holder is fixed to it and can't be removed from it.

Any ideas what i need to fit my cup holder?

Should fit mate unless you have an oversize stereo?
