Retaining Clips For Floor Mats

Hi,

Can anyone help, I have x1 floor mat retaining clip missing on my Rav and I'm looking for a repacement. Does anyone know if I can purchase one on the web.

Hi there, I'll be intrested to know if you can get them myself, as when I tried fitting the clips myself a couple of weeks ago they broke !!!!

Its not that I was heavy handed or anything like that, but there was NO way that the clips were going to go into the hole in the floor carpet, it was as if the metal/plastic ring in the floor carpet was far too small

So I didn't bother with them and the mat doesn't move too much but I would prefer to have them in.

Think you need to try Mr T. I looked all over for genuine mats was lucky to have nephew who worked at Benfield Ford in Leeds and he got me staff discount at Benfield Toyota.The clips are raelly tight but Id read a previous post about them snapping so I closed my eyes and went for it.Good luck hope you can buy clips seperate

not very good at do-ing the link thing, but there are some fur sale on eBay at the moment (rav4 styling +tuning ..willhave ago at link...

When fitting the clips drop them in a cup of boiling water first then fish them out and fit them by pressing the locating lug with your thumb - do not put your finger under the hook.

Thanks all for the replies, when I took the Rav back in to Mr T's I asked them to get me one which they did at no extra cost!
