I am needing a new set of pads for me GXi before she's back on the road next week............. in the past i have tried EBC, Pagid - well all the ones Fensport sell and tbh i found the OE Toyota pads better on uprated discs. Are there any options i have missed or worth a try?

Mintex?

I have the disc + pads on all of my brakes, much better than OEM!

the older jap import oe stuff is much different than the stuff put on our newer euro corolla's. the brakes used to be half decent not like me t sport! i've tried a lot of the so called performance pads and the old jap oe stuff was better.

Yes I do. I find them pretty good with the Tarox disks Tarox disks and pads on my Corolla

nice one  if there good enough on your corolla........ i'll get the pads for now as i have some combi discs in half decent nick off me last GXi. tbh i'm not a fan of combi discs, gonna get grooved next time same as i have on the rear. really like your car - seen it in the mags too.

i use mintex 1144's on my rolla with standard discs, much better stopping (creates a fair bit more dust though)

I used the EBC Greenstuff pads and EBC discs on a previous car and found them to be great. They just have to be warmed up to work properly. With standard OEM pads they fade with heat the EBC pads just get progressively better with heat i.e no fading.

If you try to use them cold then they can feel worse than OEM pads.
