What To Ask For When Servicing

I've booked my '99 25K mile Rav in for a service at a locally recommended non Mr T garage next week.

Bothy suggested I should ask for the axles to be greased and brake oil to be changed, but what else should I specifically ask for that may not be done routinely?

Thanks.

Sally

Passenger seats shampoood

Carpets hoovered (see Hoovie)

Wheels cleaned

Tyres checked for rubber perishing- the spare

Wiper Blades replaced

Roof/sun hatches checked for seal integrity (ie pouring a load of water down

Behind the rear nearside wheelarch petrol pipe cover is the petrol filler pipe and a breather pipe. Its worth getting the breather pipe checked for corrosion.

All brakes pipes should be checked - rubber and metal.

Send me the power steering pump as I need a new one.

Get the window winders/slides lubricated (I'm sure anchorman has a post on here somewhere)

Oil all the locks and hinges.

Get the seat belt mountings checked for corrosion....should be ok.

Lift the front carpets to check that no water leaks (rain) are wetting yer pride and joy. Cos it causes corrosion funnily enough.

You may have some rubber degradation on the suspension bushes at this age - this can be checked for movement with a crowbar.

Change the air filter. Get the spark plugs checked (it is petrol init?) Oil filter changed and oil changed.
