  • 4 years later...

Just bought one myself (see post), its so fast...been burning past people since i got it yesterday. Is yours happy doing 20mph in 4th gear like mine is? whats going on there? hit 35 can put it into 5th...my Cav SRI needed to be going 45 b4 5th gear could be engaged. Loving it so far, cost me £1200 had loads done last 2 years, belts, shocks, brakes, refurb alloys, full service, the usual things for a 76000miler...

easy to drive too.. ..

The online parts catalog www.toyodiy.com says this about st202-Blmgk

Search Results Model code To Characteristics 075080001.. ST202-BLMGK 09/1993 - 07/1999 ST202 JPN 3SFE MTM

This means you have the 5 speed manual 121bhp/125 lb·ft 3S-FE engine as per this wiki article

Been told not to accept what Wiki says, 121BHP engine was made / used ? 87 - 90 , so , did they have lots left over and used it 3 yrs later for 3s-fe engine, doubt it myself, we'll stick to what most say on here , 138BHP, it certainly feels faster than my Cav SRI 8V rated at 130bhp, maybe its just Jap tech then ...
