Now Officially A Yaris Owner - Hello ;)

After a few months of being on this site and not actually owning a Yaris, I've searched high and low and finally found one that fits my budget and needs etc. and, by accident. How bizarre.

I was taking my little lad to hospital last week to have his pot taken off his arm and just happened to see a garage with a few Yaris in, so thought I'd take a look on my way back. Result!

Said Yaris is an 5dr 04 1.3 GS in Silver (someone will tell me which this is no doubt) and it is spotless, AND they took my old Corsa 1.4i 16v Sport in PX for more than it was worth - "I know, I know" they'll have worked the figures in their favour, but it has taken the hassle of messing around selling mine private. It was only worth £1025 (according to THE BOOK) and was sporting the usual Corsa 'rusty bonnet' and had 70k on the clock. They gave me £1145 for it so...

The Yaris had a screen price of £5695 but when you consider it had one owner and 13k on the clock, and I managed to get it for £4,500 I can't grumble I don't think?

Go for it guys - what do you think?

*next step - piece by piece modding* thought I might start with wheels, tints and a spoiler. Any advice on where and which to go for would be greatly appreciated.

I'll post some pics when I pick it up this evening.

Hi, eBay usually seem good for the wheels and spoilers. I much prefere the TTE boot spoiler to the other Toyota one but there are others out there too. Some dealers may still have them in stock and let them go at a discount if you are lucky.

As for tints, I don't know your area but the local Yellow pages may throw up a few places that do them or another Yaris owner in your area may offer advice.

Good luck with the car, hope you enjot it as much as me and most other owners seem too! :D

Oh, the colour, It MAY be Lucerne grey. If I have spelt that correctly. This was a popular silver-grey colour for Yaris'.

It is a very popular colour and will be easier to sell, if trends stay the same.
